1. THE DATA CONTROLLER

2. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

The data are collected for the following purposes:

the provision of services requested, such as design and development of sites, data entry, ordinary and development maintenance of sites, hosting services through third parties and online marketing campaigns;
the fulfilment of statutory obligations, regulations, community regulations;
carrying out market research, analyses with statistical purposes, and sending of informative and promotional material also for direct marketing purposes

The provision of data is mandatory. Should you refuse to respond, we will be unable to fulfil the contractual obligations undertaken.

 

4. RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

Companies offering hosting services
Companies that deal with mass mailing of Newsletters

5. TRANSFER OF DATA ABROAD

The data provided are not generically subject to transfer to non-EU countries.

For services provided through the Siteground website, which the Data Controller has appointed to be responsible for the data processing by subscribing to the appropriate agreement, the data may also be processed on U.S. territory through the company SG Hosting Inc., registered and existing according to the laws of Delaware, in compliance with the rules of the Privacy Shield.

For the services of mass mailing of newsletters, the Data Controller uses the marketing automation platform MailChimp, managed by The Rocket Science Group LLC, which it has appointed responsible for the data processing by subscribing to a special assignment contract ("MailChimp Data Processing Addendum").

In any case, personal data will be communicated where required by law, or if requested by the police, by the judicial authority, by information and security bodies or by other public entities, for defence and security purposes of the State, or for reasons of prevention, detection or repression of offences.

 

6. RETENTION PERIOD

The data provided are retained throughout the period of the contractual relationship, after which the data are retained under the terms of law (fiscal and tax laws) or for a longer period necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the data controller.

The additional data provided, and not necessary for carrying out the contractual obligations (such as telephone number, mailing address, etc.), are retained throughout the period of the contractual relationship and subsequently for a further five years, in order to maintain an informative relationship with the company (by sending newsletters, etc.), after which the data is definitively deleted.

 

7. RIGHTS THAT CAN BE EXERCISED BY THE PERSON CONCERNED

In respect of the Data Controller, the person concerned may at any time exercise the rights referred to in the articles 15 ff of the EU regulation 679/2016: Right of access (art. 15); Right of rectification (art. 16); Right of deletion (art. 17); Right of limitation of processing (art. 18); Right of data portability (art. 20); Right of opposition (art. 21); Right to withdraw consent (art. 13).

 

8. COMPLAINT TO THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY AND JUDICIAL APPEAL

The person concerned is entitled to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the event that his or her requests for information, i.e. requests for the exercise of the rights referred to in paragraph 7 above, have not obtained the expected acknowledgement.
